Join mindful parenting expert, Dr. Shauna Shapiro and tech authority Dr. Dom Sagolla for an interdisciplinary workshop that combines ancient mindfulness practices, modern neursoscience, and lessons learned from the tech world to help us mindfully parent on the frontier of technology. We will deepen our own inner wisdom and compassion, as well as learn specific practices that help us raise emotionally intelligent children. Additionally, we will learn how to develop strong boundaries and guidelines for our children, especially around the conscious use of technology and devices. How to mindfully engage with technology is one of the dilemmas of our modern world, and we as parents need to respond proactively with presence, clarity and wisdom.

Please bring your technological devices to the workshop to learn specific strategies and practices for mobile phones and tablets. The intention of this workshop is to offer specific guidelines and practices for how to live a joyful, healthy, connected family life on the frontier of technology.

Teachings are appropriate for the general public as well as health care professionals. Health care professionals will be able to incorporate the tools and practices offered in this program when working with clients. Continuing Education (CE) credit available. See below for more information.
