Join us on Thursday nights as we come together as a community to hold our experiences around current national and world events with compassion and to support one another during this moment of extraordinary change and uncertainty. This time of refuge together includes practices, teachings and discussions that nurture our internal life in support of external service. Each weekly gathering focuses on an issue of particular concern to the community and the world, with the intention of understanding how to respond from the wisdom of the Dharma.

This week
Join Spirit Rock co-founder James Baraz and sustainability expert, author and long-time practitioner, Bob Doppelt, who worked closely with the Obama administration on Climate Change issues for a lively evening discussion. We will explore this issue in the light of the new administration's response to this urgent situation, including working with our internal reality as well as the most effective actions one can take. The next day, Bob and James will begin leading a 3-day non-residential retreat on the subject: Inspired by Change: How to Cultivate a Resilient Heart while Caring about Our Changing World.
