"When one thought ends, right before the next thought begins,
there is a tiny gap called 'now.' Over time we learn to expand that gap."

Non-Residential Programs — Doors to the Dharma

Daylongs, Drop-Ins, Classes & Benefits

Our non-residential programs — daylongs, drop-ins, classes and benefit events — are designed to open doors to the Dharma and provide opportunities for cultivating a steady meditation practice. Think of them as stepping stones to sitting a residential retreat and as ongoing support for developing a sustainable practice. Unless otherwise noted, all daylongs are suitable for beginning and experienced meditators and include basic instructions.

Check out our FAQ page for information on what to bring, how to register, directions, and answers to the most common questions we receive. If you have additional questions not covered here, you can reach our Front Office Coordinator Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm at SRMC@spiritrock.org or (415) 488-0164 X 234.
