Ever wondered how to move your practice from the cushion into your life? This retreat will explore how our practice is challenged and comes alive in the crucible of our daily interactions. While we can grow contact and intimacy with ourselves through silent practice, the larger exploration becomes how to keep that connection alive while in relationship with others. With practice and intention, we can bring interest and connection to intimate, friend, family and work relationships, while not losing contact with ourselves. This is challenging and immensely rewarding practice! Relational dharma is the invitation to make each interaction of our day a place of intensive and rewarding dharma practice – an opportunity for connection, understanding and insight.
This retreat will be held within the container of silence, with sitting and walking meditation, dharma talks and interactive inquiry creating a bridge between silent internal investigation and the vibrant, interactive, often chaotic aliveness of our daily lives. Relational dharma is the invitation to bring ourselves to all aspects of our lives with more ease, grace and a ready heart.
