Anxiety: It's Not All in Your Mind

Jill Satterfield

Sometimes we can change our mind really quickly, but when we’re working with the central nervous system, or hormonal imbalances, or pain, all of which might be linked to anxiety or trauma, change may not be fast, and it may not be easy. What we want to remember is that we can start to turn the tide of anything that we’re working with, if we do it consistently over time. This is good news, because any practice we do over and over, we become one with. You can take a jagged stone and throw it in a stream, and eventually that stone will begin to smooth.
