Beginner's Mind

In this Dharma talk, Anna Douglas considers the idea of “beginner's mind” and its relevance to conscious aging. Looking at the practice of starting anew at different life stages, she emphasizes the importance of being present in each moment and cultivating deep trust in the unfolding of the process. “We’re all able to begin again—whether it's returning to the breath, or letting go of a whole phase of our lives,” Douglas explains. “Through our mindfulness practice, we’re opening ourselves to the possibility of understanding this moment and the potential it holds for us.”
