Whether you’re offering a ride or looking for one, this space connects you with others volunteering at Spirit Rock. Please note that this board is self-managed, and it is up to volunteers to communicate and coordinate rides independently. Your willingness to support fellow volunteers on their journey is deeply appreciated!
General Ridesharing Tips
- Rides can fill up or change, so try to coordinate your plans well in advance of your retreat or event.
- Provide clear details about your departure location, date, and the number of seats available (or needed).
- Share only the contact details you’re comfortable with, such as an email or phone number.
- Confirm specifics such as pickup time, location, and any shared costs (e.g., gas) with your travel companion(s).
- Round-Trip Etiquette: Rides are typically considered round-trip unless stated otherwise. If you’re only able to offer or need a one-way ride, please make a note of it in the “Additional Details” section.
Event-Specific Scheduling Guidelines
To help coordinate with event timelines, please try to align your ridesharing plans with the following suggested arrival and departure times:
- Event Volunteers: Arrive 75 minutes before the event starts, and stay 45-60 minutes after the event ends.
- Residential Retreat Greeter Volunteers: Shifts are from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm. Coordinate rides around these arrival and departure times whenever possible.
